How to Make a Green Tea Facial Toner

A Toner that Will Even Out Your Skin Tone and Remove Impurities

Green tea has long been known to detox the body inside and out, but it also does wonders for your skin. Green tea is an antioxidant and sinks deep into your pores to cleanse and remove waste to improve your skin, this is especially beneficial if you are prone to breakouts.

  • Green Tea Toner
  • 1 cup distilled water
  • 2 teabags green tea or 2 teaspoons green tea leaves
  • tea strainer (if using tea leaves)

Boil the water and pour it into a clean container or jar. Add the tea bags or tea leaves, if using tea leaves, put them in the tea strainer or if you don’t have one just add them to the water and strain them later. Let the tea steep for a few hours or overnight to get a stronger mixture. After the tea has steeped and is fully cooled, take out the tea bags or tea leaves and strain if necessary. To apply: Using a cotton ball rub the green tea toner over your face, do not rinse it off or it will not work. You can store this toner in the refrigerator for a refreshingly cool sensation and longer shelf life, or just simply use it at room temperature, but it will only keep for a couple of weeks
